Duke of Edinburgh Award

Within the company girls can start to work towards their bronze DofE award from the age of 14. Th DofE Award is made up of 4 sections Service, Skills, Physical and expedition. Currently Amy, Beth, Joy and Amy are working towards their Bronze and Nicola and Adiaha are working towards their Gold award.

To date 4 girls have achieved their bronze awards and 4 have went on to achieve their silver.

The Girls’ Brigade Queen’s Award

The Queen’s Award is the highest award in the Girls’ Brigade, and girls can obtain this award between 17 and 25 years old. There are seven parts to the award which are Girls’ Brigade service, a general study paper, national residential, christian growth, initiative tasks and voluntary service. With in our company 12 girls have achieved their Queens Award.
